After a much needed recent trip to Nepal, I was inspired to release this single track. With elements of Buddhist monks chanting and my own throat singing , I wanted to convey the energy of the spirituality of power places in Kathmandu , Nepal. Kathmandu , the capital of Nepal, known as the city of temples, is ancient and mystical. A place where Hindu and Buddhist temples co-exist and gorgeous statues are carved out of stone.

Monks chant to prepare the mind for meditation, it is also used in Buddhist rituals. The most sacred chant is OM. Most Buddhist chant Om Mani Padmi Om.

The "Mani" ,the mechanical wheel , which is the prayer wheel that spins, that is present in all Buddhist temples, is also like reciting mantra , with the inscriptions on the wheel . When spinning these monks believe it creates merit and purifies karma.
